Good Morning Bestie
Hey Bestie,
How is it already May?! Is it me or is the year flying by. There has been so much MOMENTUM the past week. Your girl was asked to capture content for a networking brunch event. BUT this room was different bestie. It was for Moms in the entrepreneur space. I recently heard in a podcast that if you are going to go to a networking event, go to the events that make sense for you. Not these random happy hours because you are going to find yourself in a space that is not going to be aligned with where you want to do. I heard that and I felt so called out because I was that girl that THOUGHT I needed to be in as many rooms as possible to find the right opportunities.
WRONG. So dam wrong, if anything it probably was the reason why some things were delayed. EH let me take that back because, I am a firm believer that everything that happens to me is for me and maybe that is why nothing was moving forward. It was because I was not supposed to be in those spaces. It wasn't until I decided to take a step back from EVERYTHING. No more events, different offers, coaching, investments. Stoped all of that to get back to why I started this whole journey to begin with. TO DO HAIR. That is exactly what I did. I invested in classes, really poured into my hair page and step into the beauty space.
What is funny was that because there was no more resistance I found myself posting more, less overthinking and it made content creation fun. Besties I saw myself as someone that got so good at their skill that people would be SEEKING ME. Not the other way around. During that break I found myself wanting to help more people with their content. Even if it was recording, batching, anything that could support the creator. It was also confirmation that I was in a season that I was owning being a creator.
Fast forward to now, I am getting invited to film events?! I have business owners inquiring about investing in me for their social media services. This brought so much inspiration. The newsletter was another outlet to share what I was investing my time in and now with the podcast. It is time to bring a different energy. Momentum has shifted how I show up, who I want to help, and the problem I am solving. All while still pouring into me, supporting my clients, and making this the best month yet.
May feels like miracles and overflow.
