Good Morning Bestie

Hey Bestie,

17 weeks of the Momentum reset and I missed a week. I would be lying if I told you that I was a little upset with myself for breaking this streak. But at the same time, that defeats the purpose of why I started this newsletter. To have a moment to be REAL, tell you what is going on in my world and how I am figuring it the FUCK out.

How many of us are here to just figure things the fuck out?

This is the season that it is about making hard dam choices. I don't want to dwell on what I have missed. Honestly the last thing on my mind when writing this edition was being upset about missing a week. The weeks are flying and there have been moments that feels that I am in looking around the messy middle I am in. Things are moving and even though it is unclear what it next to come. It shouldn't surprise me though. I can not expect growth and not feel any pressure. Like HELLO?! Of course I am going to expand and it is not going to come lightly.

I trust the process. Great things are coming bestie. Wish I had more to yap about. But I am struggling to find the right words to express my current mindset.

For anyone that is taking the time to read this mess of an article. The amount of gratitude I have doesn't go unnoticed. At times I feel that I am speaking to a wall. One day, these articles are going to impact lives by the thousands. These will improve so much and be such a good resource.

For anyone that is having to go through some big ass changes, you are not the only one. You have the right people in your corner.

See bestie, these moments are doubt come with the journey. It is only a season of preparation.

Now go be great

Momentum Spotlight

Chynna Miranda

Founder and OBM

Giving flowers to the besties who's embodying the work, whether they're building new routines, launching a passion project, or just showing up for themselves in a real way. This is where we celebrate progress and realignment.

Tell us who you are and what you do?

I'm Chynna Miranda, an OBM and the brain behind The Ctrl Room. I specialize in backend systems, accountability, and operational strategy for founders who are ready to stop micromanaging and start leading like CEOs.

What does your current routine look like (realistically)?

My routine is a mix of structured client work and family life. I handle daily client check-ins, backend organization, and project execution while carving out time to grow The Ctrl Room. I recently took a month to reset and celebrate milestones, and I'm now back to a more disciplined, structured schedule.

Pick three characteristics that you think are non-negotiable for growth. Go into details.

  • Self-Awareness

Growth starts with the ability to be honest with yourself. Not the curated version the real one. Self-awareness means recognizing when you're avoiding responsibility, when you're operating from ego, and when your habits are holding you back. Without self-awareness, you can't correct course. You'll keep blaming circumstances instead of adjusting your behavior.

  • Discipline

Motivation fades. Discipline sustains. Growth requires showing up consistently even when it's inconvenient, uncomfortable, or boring. Whether it's building systems in business, maintaining health routines, or strengthening relationships, the compound effect of disciplined action is what creates real transformation.

  • Emotional Regulation

You cannot scale anything, business, marriage, life, if your emotions are running the program. Emotional regulation doesn't mean suppressing feelings. It means feeling them without letting them dictate your decisions. Growth requires learning to pause, reflect, and respond instead of react.

What's one micro habit that's changed the way you show up for yourself? Why is it important?

Keeping small promises to myself. Whether it's going to the gym, finishing a task, or sticking to a routine, honoring micro commitments has rebuilt my self-trust. And self-trust is foundational for sustainable growth.

What have you had to let go of in order to become who you are right now?

I've had to let go of the version of me that thought I had to prove my worth through exhaustion. For a long time, I believed being busy meant being valuable. That if I wasn't overwhelmed, stressed, or over performing, I wasn't doing enough. Letting go of that belief has been uncomfortable because it forced me to detach my identity from hustle. I've also had to let go of control. Not the healthy kind, the fear-based kind. The version of me that tried to manage everything so nothing would fall apart. Growth required trust. Trust in God, trust in systems, trust in the people I hire and the people who hire me. Becoming who I am now meant choosing structure over chaos, discipline over emotion, and peace over proving.
